Advertising not sustainable, authority tells Shell

Robot vehicle surveys deep sea off Pacific Northwest
Thu, 08/14/2008 - 07:21The first scientific mission with Sentry, a newly developed robot capable of diving as deep as 5,000 meters (3.1 miles) into the ocean, has been successfully completed by scientists and engineers from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) and the University of Washington (UW).
The vehicle surveyed and helped pinpoint several proposed deep-water sites for seafloor instruments that will be deployed in the National Science Foundation (NSF)'s planned Ocean Observatories Initiative (OOI).
Eco-tower rising in Lower Manhattan to include hotel and meeting space
Thu, 08/14/2008 - 07:21Developers recently broke ground on an Earth-friendly, $600 million mixed-use skyscraper in Lower Manhattan that will include condominiums, retail, a boutique hotel and meeting space. Located at 50 West Street, the 580,000-square-foot tower is expected to achieve LEED Gold certification when completed in 2011.
