A Bath Bomb Can Give You That Refreshed, Natural Clean Feeling
Wed, 02/11/2009 - 17:27One of the things you should really check out are bath bombs. As much as they might appear like a sick trick created by a prankster, they are actually filled with oils that moisturize you and leave the room smelling incredible. Perhaps you like lavender? Put one of these in your bath tub, it'll fiz and sizzle and then soon, you'll be lying in a tub that smells like lavender and your body will be moisturized.
I'm not going to lie and say that these are not worth it because they are. Even I have used it once or twice before. If my girlfriend insisted on me taking a bath, these have made me feel so much more at peace and calm because they really do smell and feel incredible. If you need to relax and you love the environment, try one of these. It's well worth it.
Do Your Part for the Environment
Wed, 02/04/2009 - 20:02• Energy conservation. Believe it or not, but if you conserve Energy, you’re saving money, but also saving the environment because there is not as much energy being produced. Production creates CO2 and the such. • Use recycled paper instead of new paper. It might not be pearly white, but in the end, it is going to serve its purpose. If it’s a paper for class, use recycled. If it’s a resume for a Fortunate 500 company, you can use pearly white. • Car pool. If you are all car pooling together, that’s one car for four people rather than four cars for four people. That definitely helps the environment. And, if one of you has an electric car, it is even better for the environment.
Doing your part for the environment is incredibly important. You may not be affected by a bad environment, but your kids and grandkids will be and you don’t want them to have any problems. Take the responsibility and ensure that things don’t go back for them.
Do Your Part for the Environment by Getting Environmentally Friendly Printing Done
Wed, 02/04/2009 - 01:41You may be saying to yourself, "this is stupid, it's going to cost more, blah blah blah." With more and more people becoming so environmentally friendly, it is important to keep in mind that these people may buy from a competitor over you simply because of you being Earth Friendly or not. So, if you are saying that it's a waste of money, think again. With politicians talking about Global Warming, more people are definitely going to be supporting businesses.
And, truth be told, it's not very expensive. It's recycled, so it's actually more inexpensive. It might not have the same high quality as fresh paper, but when you think about it, how much attention do people give to the actual paper instead of what is being said on it? Consider using recycled paper for your printing. Do your part for the Earth.
Billion-year revision of plant evolution timeline may stem from discovery of lignin in seaweed
Tue, 01/27/2009 - 14:24Land plants' ability to sprout upward through the air, unsupported except by their own woody tissues, has long been considered one of the characteristics separating them from aquatic plants, which rely on water to support them.
Now lignin, one of the chemical underpinnings vital to the self-supporting nature of land plants – and thought unique to them – has been found in marine algae by a team of researchers including scientists at UBC and Stanford University.
